Movie Description
Roger, an 11-year-old foster child, hears his dad sarcastically say the chances of the family reuniting are as good as the California Angels winning the pennant. Roger interprets his dad's comments as a promise and prays that God will help the Angels win the pennant. Following the prayer, a star winks back in agreement and angels unknowingly begin to help the ballplayers play better and win more games.
