"The Bad News Bears remake is a clone of the original. However, that's not to say I didn't like it. Comically speaking this one was off the charts funny. Morally speaking, this film was wrong on multiple levels. If you took your family to see the movie, you were unpleasantly surprised with the racial slurs and offensive language spewing from the mouths of little leaguers. The kids they choose to play for the Bears were solid and their uniqueness was right up there with the kids from The Sandlot. Offensive content aside...the acting was good, the gameplay was real and the atmosphere they created on the field and around the ballpark brought me back to my little league days."

"This remake of a classic baseball movie was pulled off with perfection. The modernization of this film was well done. Billy Bob Thornton could not have been cast for a better role. He is BUTTERMAKER and then some - loved him in this role. Film had me laughing out loud on several occassions. Considering I've seen the original many times over, it was a very enjoyable movie....not really for kids or young adults for that matter, but tickled my funny bone." --Randy Howlett
"I thought this movie was an awesome remake. It stayed pretty close to the original but was its own movie. Billy bob played his role very well. the kids in this movie were the best part. I recommend this movie to any baseball fan who ever played youth baseball." -- Jamey
