A musical about Joe, a huge Washington Senators fan, who makes a deal with the devil to become the Senators new hotshot ballplayer. With Joe now playing for the Senators they have a real shot at beating the Yankees in the pennant, but the devil's secret plan is to pull the rug out from the fans' feet just before the Senators win triggering a mass depression. When Joe's yearning for his wife grows, the devil introduces Joe to a new weapon ... the charming Lola. Can Joe keep it all together to beat those Yankees and keep his soul?
