Jack, a homeless man, stumbles onto a local sandlot and is found by a local little league team who just lost their coach. Jack, a former ballplayer, is forced into coaching the team as the kids inspire him to reclaim his life.

"Had a few emotional scences that really got to me. However, the baseball play was pretty bad. These kids were not real ballplayers and you could tell. Watched kinda like a small budget film, but yet had Burt Reynolds, Reba McEntire and Joe Theisman in it. Hard to believe this came out the same year at The Sandlot."
