Jack Elliot former All-Star whose career is declining is forced to sign with the Japanese baseball team, the Chuunichi Dragons. Jack has trouble adjusting to the Japanese culture and the etiquette required of him as a ballplayer. After falling in love with the managers daughter, Jack begins to appreciate the Japanese way.
