The Sandlot 3 is set to be released on DVD May 1st. We at Baseballmovie.com are thrilled to hear about this project. While not likely to compare with The Sandlot, we are hoping this one turns out better than The Sandlot 2.
Director of this film is William Dear who did not direct the first 2 in the Sandlot trilogy but was the director of Angels in the Outfield.
Plot summary: Sucessful, arrogant baseball superstar Tommy "Santa" Santorelli travels back in time to 1976 and relives his boyhood days on the sandlot baseball team, this time choosing friendship over glory and ultimately earing both. |
